Moving Image Arts – the Cinematheque qualification

I’ve just spent a couple of days in Belfast, being reminded of the really high quality film education work that is done over there.  Moving Image Arts is their patented ‘film art’ qualification, available at GCSE, A/S and A level – and available in England too!

They have a microsite through the website of CCEA – which is a cross between Northern Ireland’s QCA and an exam board.  Student work, exemplars, curricula, resources, all here

Two of the teachers showed work their students had done for A level this year, which used the ‘montrer/ cacher’ rubric and exercises, and we think some of the examples and approach are visible in the pieces.  I’ve got permission to load them up here..
