LNS get off to a great start in November/December 2011 and the photos are an indication as to their enthusiasm for editing and working well in groups. Film- maker, Sam Lawlor, initially has them playing around with the cameras to familiarise them both with the equipment and the Southbank environment which will be their set for the ensuing weeks.
At the end of the session it’s impressive to see all the LNS boys give constructive and supportive feedback to each others’ work during screening. Positively focused energy is surging through this group. They also reflect thoughtfully on the real/fiction theme for this year. As soon as available we’ll post the fruit of their efforts re. the 3 exercises: Waiting / Physical task / Public Space & Eyeline Matches.
