London Nautical School: atmosphere & indulgence

I’ve been to London Nautical a few times but rarely have an opportunity to venture into its deeper recesses. I take some shots and wonder if the boys are fully aware of how much like an actual film set their school is. They did a recce a few weeks ago, checking out rooms, lighting and useful sounds; it could be time for some of the boys to really look at the detail of distressed corridors, distorted reflections and where light casts its golden hour shadows.   1. There’s an object lesson in how a soundtrack can transform a place that’s as familiar as the back of my hand into something rather more surreal!
