So, did watching the 400 Blows leave any trace at all on your film-making?

Last week (31st Jan), Sam brought in a light-weight kind of body-mounted jib, in order to take fluid tracking shots.  One of the groups followed Kai in a circular stroll around BFI Southbank; not one of the exercises per se, but still an exercise in filming in confined and open spaces.  As for the 400 Blows, which we watched the week before, there’s the faintest echo of the final sequence of the film, the famous tracking shot following Antoine to the sea.
