City Heights – planning final film

We’re almost on the home straight for Cinematheque projects, in the last half term of the project.  City Heights have 10 students on the programme, with film-maker Sam Lawlor.  This week, Sam is getting the group focused on preparing for their final film: according to the regles du jeu, it must contain several long takes, in one of which the camera ‘leaves the action and wanders off autonomously’.  The story must concern a ‘troubling encounter’ between two or more people.

Here are pictures of the group thinking and talking through their ideas.
